    PRESIDENT

I really enjoy being on this committee. The team is so dedicated to making this event so special for everyone. This is hard work but I can tell you, for me, I do this for my mom and for the applause when the firewords end! Boom! Oohhhhh…. awww…..

VICE PRESIDENT & LEAD FOR MOTORCYCLE EVENT(S)

My name is Tina (Melby) Prchal and I am an RHS alumni from the class of 1990. My full time day job is a Sr. IT Project Lead at Medtronic but since I am also an empty nester, I decided to volunteer my time with the Richfield 4th of July Committee to assist with bringing back the granture of the celebration to the community. I have always loved the 4th of July and remembering the times here being the parade and then watching the fireworks were the very best memories of my childhood here.

    PARADE ORGANIZER & SPONSOR DEVELOPMENT

I joined the 4th of July committee in 2016 and took on the role of parade organizer. I grew up in a small rural community and I have fond memories of attending parades as a kid. My Dad was the parade organizer for my town festival and I saw the amount of work he put into it. The Richfield 4th of July parade has the small town feel that I remember, and I get great satisfaction from seeing the happy faces along the parade route.

    SECRETARY

I've been a member of the 4th of July Committee since 2016 and am very excited to bring the celebration back to Richfield! I moved to Richfield when I got married. My daughters grew up here, attended Richfield Public Schools and have very fond memories of July 4th - the parade, the street dance, family and friend picnics, bouncy houses and especially the fireworks. My grandchildren have also enjoyed the festivities!

I love the 4th of July. It's my favorite holiday of the year. I love the traditions, the ability to gather as a community, and the opportunity to make life-long memories.

    WEB MASTER

Born on Flag Day, patriotism is in my bones. I’m so proud to be a part of this committee and support its mission to foster community, honor our veterans and celebrate the USA! When I’m not supporting this event, I work as a UX Designer for Esri’s events and enjoy being silly with my husband and our two young kiddos.
