Richfield 4th of July History
Since 1980, it has been our mission to advance and promote the observance of Independence Day in the city of Richfield, MN. In doing so, it is our objective to provide a celebration which can provide patriotic expression, family participation, amusement, community cohesiveness and homecoming.
Richfield's 4th of July Event features community and family focused events that offer something for everyone. Veterans Park is the host site for most of our events. Whether you come for the Parade, music, Street Dance, Fireworks, or Family Night, you and your family will have a blast!
About the Committee
We are an all-volunteer team that works all year to plan an amazing two days worth of events. We have many volunteers that sign up to work the beer tent, sell tickets, work entrances and monitor the bouncy houses so kids don't get hurt. We depend on volunteers and donations to run these events.

The 4th of July events are planned by an independent, volunteer committee and executed with the logistical cooperation of the City of Richfield staff and volunteers.
The City of Richfield does not pick up the bill and does not use tax payer money to pay for Richfield 4th of July events.
